Email from Pejabat Harta Bina related to power supply disruption at UTM Skudai campus due to maintenance work at UTM Main Distribution Substation is referred.
Hence, all university systems and network access at JB campus are likely to experience disruption during these activities on:

Time: 8.00 am – 4.00 pm

Please consider the disruption of the system and network when planning activities that require these ICT services.

Waktu operasi sementara UTMFin

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa mulai daripada 27hb Ogos – 5hb September 2018sistem UTMFin hanya boleh dicapai oleh pengguna daripada jam 5:30 petang –  8.00 pagi setiap hari bagi memberi laluan kepada proses pendaftaran pelajar baharu UTM yang sedang berlangsung pada ketika ini.

Sistem UTMFin akan beroperasi semula seperti biasa bermula pada 6hb September 2018.

UNIVERSITY INFORMATION SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN RESTORED

The previous closure notice is referred.

At the moment (23rd August 2018), part of university information systems are accessible to all users. However, the information systems still use infrastructure at the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), CICT UTMKL. Hence, access to these information systems is expected to be slower than usual.

The following systems are not yet accessible to all users:

  • RADIS
  • VRMS
  • eKlinik
  • Kad Matrik Pelajar
  • AIMS Student Account (Client)

CICT will share the progress from time to time.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF UNIVERSITY INFORMATION SYSTEMS

A series of announcements related to disruption of university’s database appliances and activation of ICT Disaster Recovery Plan are referred.

Please be informed that we are already at final stage in ICT Recovery Plan activity involving transferring data from Data Recovery Center (DRC) to Data Center, UTMJB.

All university information system will be temporarily closed starting on 12 am, 21st August 2018 to ensure this process running smoothly and successful.

If there is no issue arises, university database system and access to university information systems will be restored after 10.00 pm, 22nd August 2018.

All difficulties are deeply regretted.

Access disruption incident to university’s database system has exceeded 24 hours mark. Thus, CICT has activated ICT Disaster Recovery Plan. If there is no other issue arise, access to all affected systems will be restored as follows:
